I was born in Singapore and grew up between Jakarta, Seoul, London, Sydney, Singapore, Delhi, and now San Francisco. Moving so often has let me meet so many wonderful people I am lucky to call my friends, and each place has shaped me into who I am today.

Since I was a kid, I have loved science and the feeling of wonder that comes from truly understanding how something works. Beginning to teach in India made me passionate about making that feeling more accessible and made me care deeply about increasing women role models in STEM. I am especially drawn to frugal science, the idea that meaningful tools for learning do not have to be expensive or complicated.
Studying engineering has been extremely empowering because it has given me the tools to build the ideas I used to only imagine. I am currently studying Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering at Stanford, where I am learning both how machines think through AI and how to build physical products that people can hold, use, and learn from. I hope to use these skills in technology for social good.

I am also shaped by theatre and poetry, which have taught me to notice small things, tell better stories, and take imagination seriously. To complement my work in STEM, I am pursuing an interdisciplinary arts minor.
Across my work, I am trying to understand technology from the inside out, then use it with imagination to build tools, stories, and experiences that help people learn and create. If anything resonates with you, please reach out to me!
